Now in its 45th season, the Candlelight Concert series brings acclaimed musicians to our historic sanctuary for intimate performances.
Past seasons have featured London's APOLLO5, the Byrd Ensemble, Bach's Passion According to St. John, and world and North American premieres of major choral works.
Our Candlelight Concert season begins with one of the Bay Area's newest choirs, Aeternum. They will perform a program called "Origins," which explores the Renaissance’s greatest hits like Allegri’s Miserere, Byrd’s Mass for Five, and more, alongside their re-imagined works by today’s most exciting living composers. This concert will be on Saturday, 12 September at 5:00 p.m. As always, our concerts are free and un-ticketed.
