Wall art conservator Samantha Emmanuel will continue cleaning and repairing the Bloch/Dimitroff fresco in St. Mary's courtyard, this Saturday 9/8.  She has apparently removed the black marker ink, but has some other damage to address, as well as a complete dry cleaning of the surface.  
I hope you may be able to stop by and observe what she's doing
Following the conservation, we'll be celebrating the 60th anniversary of the fresco's creation; watch this space for news of the event!
