St. Mary’s Receives Episcopal Impact Fund Grant

On September 2 nd , Episcopal Impact Fund (EIF) announced Poverty Relief
Congregational Grants totaling $60,000 to 28 congregations and ministries “meeting
urgent needs throughout the Bay Area.” Among the grants $5,000 was awarded the
Church of St. Mary the Virgin’s Nueva Esperanza Accompaniment Team (NEAT), an
equal partnership with Congregation Sherith Israel. These funds will be used in meeting
housing, food, education, legal, medical, and other needs in achieving new lives of
independence and dignity within the Bay Area. Contact the church leaders for
