Candlelight Concerts 2024-2025
Dear Friends,
It is my pleasure to announce our 2024-2025 Candlelight Concerts at St. Mary the Virgin!
Now in our 46th season, we have a fantastic schedule of concerts featuring a return of the Chamber Music Society of San Francisco, a concert of Scottisn and English choral music by the Byrd Ensemble, and a long-time friend of our series, Brian Thorsett, this time alongside England’s Dante Quartet.
Our liturgical offerings with special music include the much-anticipated Festival of Lessons and Carols for Advent, and Bruckner’s Requiem in D-minor for the Feast of All Souls.
I
extend my thanks to our donors, by whose generosity, we are always able
to offer these stunning performances free and open to the public.
These
concerts are one of the many ways that St. Mary’s offers a place of
refreshment and spiritual benediction to the community, and we are
