Summer in the City: Reducing Recidivism with Hope and Beyond & Linda Connelly
With
public safety a concern for all of us, one way of addressing it starts
with a successful reentry process into communities for those leaving
prison by providing needed services and tools. Ministry to those in
prison is important and foundational work for the church as Jesus
teaches in Matthew 25. Hope Beyond spoke about their work in prisons, and how
to become a volunteer pen pal with incarcerated women. Hope Beyond has
over 200 women waiting for this highly successful pen pal program.
