In Person Gathering
NEW IN-PERSON OPPORTUNITIES ARE EMERGING FOR WORSHIP AND MINISTRIES:
Sunday Morning Prayer Gatherings: Groups of up to 20 people will gather to participate in the liturgy of Morning Prayer. There will be multiple groups offered at various locations and at different times. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on the scripture and offer prayers.
Participants will need to reserve their space at the service weekly through our worship service registration website, HERE.
St. Mary’s Outer Courtyard Open for Private Devotion: Starting Monday, September 28, the outer courtyard of St. Mary’s will be open for private devotion from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Anyone is welcome to spend time there in prayerful reflection. We ask that all people wear a mask and maintain at least 6 feet of distance between other individuals. No reservation is necessary.

In order to comply with attendance limits and offer contract tracing if necessary, all participants are required to register in advance to attend in-person worship services. Participants will need to register their attendance on a weekly basis. In order to fulfill our commitment to offering services that are safe, sustainable, and theologically sound, it is highly discouraged that people show up to an in-person gathering without registering their participation.
We are excited to offer these varied opportunities for us to gather in Christ’s name. As we move forward, and as circumstances change, we will continue to discover and refine the various ways that we will gather. IN-PERSON OUTDOOR GATHERINGS OF MINISTRIES AT ST. MARY’S
St. Mary’s is pleased to provide guidelines for new opportunities for parish ministries to gather outdoors in groups of up to 12 people, while maintaining all safety protocols. These guidelines are offered in accordance with health guidelines within our current purple phase of the Vestry approved regathering plan.
Please note that the City & County of San Francisco permits more people to gather for worship than for any other events in a faith community. Therefore our ministry and faith formation groups must be limited to 12 people.
St. Mary’s continues to encourage virtual gatherings for all aspects of our community life. And we are excited to share the guidelines for small in-person gatherings of our ministry teams. Click HERE for guidelines.
Thank you for your partnership in this evolving process. If you have any questions, please email Rev. David Erickson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
